As a tribute to Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary, New Acropolis Toulouse, with the patronage of the Embassy of India, will host a conference titled Gandhi’s Philosophy: The Bhagavad Gita on 3rd October 2019.
Gandhi’s philosophy is aimed at idealists who aspire to change the world by changing themselves. His doctrine of non-violence and its practical applications, drawn from the heart of India’s tradition of wisdom, remain relavent to the personal and collective challenges we face even today.
It is from the Bhagavad Gita, a sacred text of ancient India, that Gandhi drew his spiritual insights and action power. The philosophical text of the Bhagavad Gita can provide each of us with confidence to awaken the peaceful warrior that lives within us and to undertake the path of self-conquest.
The conference will be hosted by Béatrice Carles and Théo Pistone, trainers at New Acropolis Toulouse. It will be attended by Ms. Manii Agarwal, third secretary of the Embassy of India.
