In a time when the world was shaken by two world wars, atomic bombs and the Holocaust, one man – Mahatma Gandhi, managed to lead more than 450 million people in what is known as the greatest pacifist revolution in history. Through non-violent means, Gandhi proposed an ethical model in which the ends do not justify the means; teachings that would later inspire Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela in the fight against racial discrimination. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, Acropolis Comayagua organized a Conference and film screening to offer homage to his life and work.
