New Acropolis Poland (Warsaw) commemorates the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with a conference on 27th October 2019. One of the greatest spiritual leaders of India, Gandhi promoted the philosophy of an active but peaceful resistance (Satyagraha) which eventually led to India’s Independence in 1947. His birthday, 2nd October, was later declared International Day of Non-Violence by the United Nations. Gandhi’s life and actions were marked by the relentless pursuit of Truth.
